INFORMATION In order to receive our newsletter, The Ambrose requires your email address. The Ambrose will not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your email address or any personal information to any third party without your consent. This email list is exclusively permission-based: users are only added to the list if they request to be on it. This can be done in only one of two ways: 1) at an event hosted by The Ambrose in which emails are collected for the express purpose of being added to this list, or 2) via the automatic subscribe form located at http://www.sublit.com/ambrose/subscribe/index.jsp. SUBSCRIBING / UNSUBSCRIBING Users may automatically opt-in or opt-out of The Ambrose list by clicking the following links: subscribe | unsubscribe Links to the same subscribe and unsubscribe functions are also provided at the bottom of every email. Once unsubscribed, email addresses are blacklisted from particular lists in an effort to never send unsubscribed users mail from the same list again. Users experiencing problems subscribing or unsubscribing should send an email to subscriptions@ambrosehotel.com. CONTESTS AND GIVEAWAYS The Ambrose may decide to request information from users via contests and giveaways. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose any information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name, address, and email) and creative answers to impress contest judges. The Ambrose reserves the right to publish all information submitted for the contests and giveaways on its site. The selection of winners is at the sole discretion of The Ambrose and all decisions are final. FORWARDING EMAILS Whenever a user uses built-in mailer technology to forward emails to others (e.g. "send mailer" links), his/her intended recipients will not be automatically added to any distribution list. However, The Ambrose reserves the right to send such recipients an invitation to join the list if they do not sign up themselves. LOG FILES The Ambrose uses IP addresses and email addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. SHARING The Ambrose shares aggregated demographic profiles with our partners and sponsors. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. LINKS Both the mailer and the website contain links to other sites. Please be aware that The Ambrose is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. This privacy statement applies solely to information directly collected by The Ambrose. SECURITY The Ambrose takes every precaution to protect users' information. All user-related information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.
